The Dark Knight Rises: Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s Cop First Photo

Dark Knight Rises fans have been itching to get a glimpse of Joseph Gordon-Levitt and his role in Christopher Nolan’s final Batman movie. Sure, we’ve seen the photos of Anne Hathaway as Catwoman, but this is the first photo of Gordon-Levitt in full policeman’s uniform that has been released.

Although how Gordon-Levitt’s character will play into The Dark Knight Rises storyline is yet to be determined, Movie Fanatic is impressed with his swagger as a Gotham City cop.

Nolan is currently filming the third in his Dark Knight trilogy in New York City, after putting time in Los Angeles (check out The Dark Knight LA set videos). Gordon-Levitt was strolling the New York set in character when the above photo was snapped.

Also, as a bonus for our readers, we have a shot of Christian Bale as he was shooting a scene outside Trump Towers, which was renamed Wayne Enterprises for the film.

The Innkeepers: Terrifying Trailer Premieres

In honor of Halloween, Movie Fanatic is proud to present the new poster and trailer for the upcoming haunted hotel film The Innkeepers. The film stars Sara Paxton and Pat Healy and is from director Ti West (House of the Devil). The film’s poster has also premiered (below).

Paxton and Healy are the final two employees of a on its last legs New England hotel. Word on the street is that the establishment is haunted and that may or may not have something to do with the fact that overnight guests have dwindled to zero of late.

In a move that seems to work for smaller films of late, The Innkeepers will debut on Video on Demand December 30 and land in theaters February 3, 2012. Melancholia starring Kirsten Dunst has found success with that release style currently.

In The Innkeepers, after a century of success, The Yankee Pedlar Inn is closing forever. Those two final employees we mentioned are on a mission to prove once and for all that the rumor about the haunting of the hotel is true. As the closing date of the hotel comes ever close, a few odd guests check in while our amateur ghost-busters seek to uncover the truth that may send them from being hotel employees to part of the hallowed hotel’s history.
