The Words Gets a New Trailer: Bradley Cooper Gets a Lesson in Plagiarism

In ten years, The Words will be required viewing for all incoming freshmen of any institution of higher learning. It’s a thriller about plagiarism! Now all educators need is a horror film about mixing vodka into your Powerade bottle and they’ll have a much more manageable student population.

Check out the new trailer for The Words:

Bradley Cooper stars as Rory Jansen, an author who steals another man’s work and is forced to face the consequences. Cooper will begin filming the third installment in his beloved Hangover franchise later this year. In the meantime, check out this Hangover 3 logo that was just released.

Also starring are Olivia Wilde, Jeremy Irons, Dennis Quaid, and Zoe Saldana (Star Trek 2). Brian Klugman and Lee Sternthal co-wrote and co-directed the film.

The Words hits theaters September 7.

Total Recall Exclusive: Colin Farrell on Classic Story Resonance

Colin Farrell did not hesitate to step into the role made famous by Arnold Schwarzenegger in the Len Wiseman reboot of Total Recall. The actor told us exclusively in our video interview that he believes the story written by Philip K. Dick (We Can Remember It For You Wholesale) will always resonate.

“I think it goes back to the fundamentals of being a human being — the ideas of identity and personality and fitting into society. I play a protagonist who believes everything he thought was real was taken from him,” Farrell said.

The 2012 film, also starring Jessica Biel and Kate Beckinsale, is completely different from the 1990 smash hit, but the film’s core message still remains.

“Fifteen minutes into the film he finds out that nothing is real in his life. So, it brings up those questions of nature versus nurture. I think it plays into people’s feelings of what it means to be a person.”
