Mad Max Fury Road Final Trailer: Let the Countdown Begin!

For fans of George Miller’s Mad Max series, the most important words associated with the debut of the film’s new teaser today should be “final trailer!” Warner Bros. debuted the final Mad Max Fury Road trailer and it is an impressive piece of teasing filmmaking.

Anticipation could not be any higher for Miller’s return to the Australian post-apocalyptic Outback as he introduces his new Mad Max in Tom Hardy.

But, what we adore about this particular chapter in his series is that it appears to be as much about a character named Furiosa, played by Charlize Theron. She is the focus of this latest trailer and she finds an unlikely ally in Hardy’s Max.

See, Furiosa believes that Max is her best bet in getting across the desert to her homeland. As you can tell by the below trailer, it’s a dangerous road, but with Max on her side and her innate ability for survival, she might just stand a chance.

Miller’s return to his Mad Max world lands in theaters merely days from now, May 15, and also stars Zoe Kravitz, Nicholas Hoult and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.

Mad Max: Fury Road is just one reason we think summer 2015 will be the best ever.

Suicide Squad: Will Ben Affleck Star?

After we finally saw Ben Affleck as Batman in that Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer, most agreed that we kind of liked Affleck as the Dark Knight and in his scene as Bruce Wayne.

With David Ayer shooting his Suicide Squad currently, many have wondered, will Affleck appear in that world that features one of Batman’s most iconic foes with Jared Leto as The Joker?

We appear to have the answer as the film shoots in Canada. eTalk has word and has captured, via the photo below, evidence that Affleck will at least be Bruce Wayne in Suicide Squad, and we suspect he’ll don the Batsuit as well.

We’ll keep you posted as news continues to be made from the Suicide Squad set!

Beyond Leto, Suicide Squad stars Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman and Jai Courtney.

Zoolander 2: Justice Bieber Does Blue Steel & Joins Cast!

After making a splash at Paris Fashion Week announcing that Zoolander 2 was filming, the currently in production movie has added a name to the all-star cast that should certainly make some headlines. Justin Bieber joined star Ben Stiller in a Twitter photo as both sported the iconic Blue Steel fashion pose that serves as an announcement that the pop singer is set to at least make a cameo in the sequel to Zoolander.

Zoolander 2 brings back Stiller, along with his buddy Owen Wilson, in a film that was penned by Justice Theroux (we adore his Tropic Thunder quotes!).

Fred Armisen, Kyle Mooney, Olivia Munn, Kristen Wiig and Billy Zane are all part of the cast. We’ve heard rumors that Kanye West, Kim Kardashian, Anna Wintour, Naomi Campbell and Cara Delevingne will all join Bieber in the cameo department as well.

Beyond the Reach: Michael Douglas Explores Past & Present!

Beyond the Reach finds Michael Douglas playing about as fierce of a character as he’s ever played.

The actor (soon to be seen in Ant-Man) visited Movie Fanatic, along with his Beyond the Reach co-star Jeremy Irvine. They also discuss their favorite Michael Douglas movies, including Fatal Attraction (one of our top 19 stalker movies!) and Black Rain

Douglas plays a wildly successful businessman who has a passion for big-game hunting. He hires a guide (Irvine) to take him into the Mojave Desert for a hunt and mistakenly shoots a man and kills him.

When Irvine refuses to roll over and play along with Douglas’ effort to cover it up, the young guide finds himself the target of Douglas’ hunt.

Beyond the Reach is in theaters and is available on VOD now.

Female 21 Jump Street Spin-Off In the Works!

After the success of 21 Jump Street and 22 Jump Street, one could see why Sony head Tom Rothman is eager to turn that property into a serious franchise for the studio. Word has arrived today, courtesy of The Wrap, that the studio is seeking to do a female-centric spin-off of the film series that stars Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum as undercover cops.

When you think about it, this could totally make a lot of sense and work on many levels. Where the first film mined jokes about reboots and turning TV shows into movies and the follow-up managed to lampoon the institution of the movie sequel, a female-driven 21 Jump Street could shine its wicked smart spotlight on movie spin-offs and even try to blatantly cater to the female audience.

No word as to whether the movie series’ creators, Phil Lord and Chris Miller, will direct. We suspect that they’re busy enough with that animated Spider-Man movie that was just announced and they’re also developing a 23 Jump Street. Lord and Miller have also been mentioned as the creative team that could bring a new Ghostbusters to the screen with Tatum. Yes, they are quite busy. Look for them to simply serve as producers of a female 21 Jump Street.

With the right actresses on board who have a similar comedic and heartwarming chemistry as Tatum and Hill, we think this could easily work.
