While the ramifications of the Disney buyout of 20th Century Fox’s film and television divisions are far-reaching, Marvel Cinematic Universe fans can rejoice because the Fantastic Four are finally headed back home. It’s been a rough road for Marvel’s First Family, with their very first film never even making it to the screen and subsequent entries being greeted with lukewarm to downright scathing responses.

Bride of Frankenstein Reboot May Be Moving Forward Again

Director Bill Condon’s Bride of Frankenstein is showing new signs of life, as the project assembles a production crew in order to begin filming sometime this year. The classic monster movie reboot still has Javier Bardem attached to costar as the Frankenstein monster, though the role of the Bride has yet to be officially filled. Angelina Jolie has been first in line to play the Bride for the past few years, but the Oscar-winner is believed to have now passed on that role, and is focusing her attention on the Disney fairy tale sequel Maleficent 2 instead.

Since 2011, HBO’s big-budget masterpiece has wowed fans around the world. Breaking records and sweeping award boards, it will be a sad day when Game of Thrones rolls its credits for the last time in season 8.
